Responding to the “Antigua’s List: Girls” hype

I find it funny how chicks selectively make mountains out of molehills. Besides the “expectancy complex” that some of them have, some of them are caught up in a self inflicted struggle to always be the phuq-ing “victim” and make a “women’s issue” out of everything. Isn’t that Lifetime’s job?

Really, I don’t mind being painted as “the bad guy” for the whole thing but what probably annoyed me the most was how much I was misquoted and misrepresented in a lot of the resulting responses of my previous post. Never once did I address any chick directly as a “bitch”, “slut”, “whore” or anything of that sort yet I see that one blog’s author stated that I did so a total of 42 times and I was degrading “womyn”. Why; because I said “chick”? Leave it to the feminists to take a term of endearment and turn it into one of oppression.

When the post dropped last week everyone (male and female) was laughing and looking forward to seeing it. As in expected Beef Pattie fashion, it was going to be a REAL post and this time it was going to give a comical insight to the world of guys and what we thought and talked about. Everyone saw it that way in the days leading up to the full post and even hours after. Things were going all well until one of these “women on a mission” read it and took everything COMPLETELY out of context and made it her business to “seek souls” for her cause in a Brother Connie-esque manner.

I really don’t see how guys openly stating their opinions can be seen as the worst thing to happen to women since the breast cancer epidemic (because that’s how some of them made it sound). Saying stuff about someone behind their backs is much worse if you ask me. If anything, the post probably had three or so somewhat “negative” categories at most. The others were us highlighting and showing appreciation for chicks. I’m sure if chicks were all REAL with themselves, they’d admit that in their circles they probably have their own thoughts and opinions on dudes in the same fashion that we did. So what if we went public with ours?

Yes, I’ll admit that organizing the list and publishing it was juvenile but that was the fun part about it; the post was for yucks and giggles. Do you really have your head so far up your own @$$ that you couldn’t see that? I took special consideration to not bring about categories that were grossly “negative”. It really could have been a lot worse since we guys do talk about some pretty messed up stuff. The majority of the post itself was talking about the reasoning and the process behind the list and not the list itself; did you even read the preceding paragraphs? I’m talking to the pissed off chicks here.

In any case I did offer a disclaimer which stated that if you were a chick you should not continue reading since it was for the eyes of guys ONLY. If you continued reading and got pissed off about something then cry me a freaking river and blame your own damn self for not being able to follow SIMPLE instructions *insert reference to Eve and the garden of Eden here*. Step your reading and comprehension skills up!

Beef Pattie aims to be the most REAL blog out there and in achieving that goal of course toes are going to be stepped on. It wouldn’t be “a blog so REAL it’s in high definition” if I pussyfooted around things. If you can’t handle REAL then you should probably be off reading something milder that caters to your inability to see the bigger picture behind of most of the posts. You can “put Antigua’s young male ‘authors’ in your prayers” all you want and openly “hate” on the blog, but the fact remains that in doing so you’ve helped keep Beef Pattie in the mouths of many. I thank you guys so much for spreading the “good word” of Beef Pattie and helping to achieve a viewership of over 20,000 in just three days. Really couldn’t have done it without ya’ll.

Really though, if you “womyn” are that bored and have no men to make sandwiches for (was that sexist?), then maybe you should go protest in front of every club or radio station that plays dancehall music. That genre is a million times more degrading and disrespectful to chicks than anything I’ve ever said on here. I do hope none of you go clubbing either…

Oh, and to those Afrocentric “womyn” whose only reason for hatin’ on the post was because I allegedly “worshipped the females closer to European descent” by saying that Consuelo is probably the best looking chick in Antigua: “They’ll always be haters; that’s the way it is. P.S.: I have nothing against real feminists; just the ones who masquerade as them and in actuality are male bashers.
